Stroud & Swindon was founded in 1850 and with assets of £3 billion, It is now the 11th largest building society in the UK. Our Head Office has always been based in Stroud and in addition there are 22 branches in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.
As a mutual organisation, the Society is a strong supporter of local communities and charities in the region. In 2009 each branch office has nominated its own charity to support and will be involved in a variety of fundraising and other activities.
